I have a 68 Dart GTS 340 project that I have been working on and now it needs a new home.Originally red with a black interior,vinyl top and tailstripe.The original engine was missing when I got it and had a 318 with a bad 727 in its place,it now has a 340 and 727 from a 70 Challenger in it and it runs awsome and the trans shifts great.I started redoing the brakes and has new brake lines ,wheel cyl. ,master cyl. and shoes.I also just installed a new gas tank and sending unit.This car is a very solid project that has some rust in the rear quarters and the front toe panel and some rust starting under the vinyl top.I would prefer anyone interested in the car to come and look it over for yourself,I am in Canaan,CT.06018 and if your coming from the south and headed to Musclepalooza this weekend at Lebanon Valley you will probably drive right by it:D(I will be at the Valley but if you stop and check out the car?call me on my cell which the # is on the car).I am asking $6500 and I am in no rush to sell it but I am not real thrilled about letting it sit around as I just have too much going on right now and can't put the time into it that it deserves.

As said I would like any potential buyers to check it out in person but I am opening the sale up to anyone interested near or far.

It would need to be trailered to be safe until all could be checked out as it sat for 20 years.It does run great and drives but I have not had any time to finish up the brakes or anything else on it.

Alright well hopefully we can set up a meeting for the saturday june 25th, will take me about 6 hours to get up there, and check it out, ill have a trailer with me for when i see if its to my liking which is 99% possible

and please if you have serious interest?check with your girlfriend ,wife ,dog,mom or whoever before making any deals.

Got your pm,engine is still in the GTS at the moment.If I pull it I will get a hold of you first,I just hate to pull it because it runs in this car so damn good.I do have another 340 but its all apart at the moment(block has been cleaned and magged)still on its virgin bore and has a 1-9-70 casting date.I would sell the short block apart for $500

I am taking this car off the selling block and its just gonna have to sit here for a while till I can get to it.:banghead:

To be honest I was only selling this car because I wanted a race car that I knew about that was For sale to me first and I just don't want my friend to have to wait on me even though he said he would.Plus the low ball offers that just blew me away and would finish it off with the whole line about how freakin bad the economy is:mumum:I would just grin and bear it.But I was really thinking,what the hell are you looking at a 68 Dodge Dart GTS for if the economy is so bad?Oh well enough on that as I might just cage and tub it:bootysha:
