1968 Dart steering question ?

we are converting our 1968 Dart to manual steering...what year box's work ?

Ive seen som ebox's @ the local bone yard in old valents say 1965..need to install b4 the motor..weather's breaking!

They all work - the manual boxes are all the same in A, B, and E bodies - even after 72.

dont forget the steering column is shorter for power steering ( food for thought )

yea I have heard the power is shorter.
are there suplyers to change the column shift parts to make it look floor shift ?
.my bro made a short shaft for a drag car customer. He had it angle off the inner drivers side fender with bearings, and universals..stainless steel polished ...looked sweet!

how about those ALUMINUM case steering boxes...are they safe ?

I could be wrong, but as it relates to the A,B, and e bodies, they're all alluminum.
