Was there a factory tach option? If so, where can an OEM or repro unit be obtained? Thanks.
 
I think that Tach is for the Barracuda Rallye Gauge style dash.

The Dart's only factory option was a tach which was mounted to the top front of the console and these go for quite a bit more than $249.

A-Body:
These Ralley Tachometers will work with points, electronic or MSD ignitions. Will fit either standard or the rally dash.
CH-CS161 1968-69 Barracuda Tach – 120SP $ 249.00
CH-CS162 1967-71 A-body Tach – 150 sp $ 249.00
 
I still say that's for a Barracuda only with any dash or 1970 and newer Dart, Dusters, Demons etc with Rallye Dash. The 1967-1969 Dart's had only the long rectangular gauge cluster and no option for the round pods. I suppose if you took everything from a Barracuda and stuffed it in the Dart then it would work.
