It's been a short but sweet relationship with my Dart. I had my fun with it but it's time to move on. I bought the car off of a friend of mine. We actually both spotted it sitting at a little farm stand on the side of the highway. I am the fourth owner. We went through it and gave it a tune up and some needed mechanical parts (alt, fuel pump ,wires) and voila!
It is a miracle this car survived in New England. The original owner was a little lady who's mechanic vigorously coated the under carriage every winter with 10w-40 to prevent rust. It is completely RUST FREE!! The coolest part of the car I think is that the dealers name plate still exists on the trunk, Knox of Somerville MA.
I put about 3000 miles on it last spring and summer. Original miles now show 100,400. The car has always been garaged its whole life. It runs absolutely amazing. Everything works heater, radio, blinkers. Rebuilt the master cylinder, new carburetor, new fuel pump, new alternator, new wires, new plugs, new distributor cap, new tires, gas tank is a new one put on by the second owner.
One complete build sheet. All numbers match!!! Motor and Transmission. Chrome on bumpers is very good. Grill is mint condition. Tail lights and signal markers are originals and very good. One headlight is original. The other is a GE replacement. Points ignition. Original paint. No accidents.
Interior is very good. No cracks on dash. Headliner is mint no sagging. Front Bench needs to be redone but still comfortable. Shifts great no slippage. CD player works and speakers.
I consider this car a strong number 3 car. This car has been kept as close to survivor as possible. No mickey mouse wiring etc. Asking price of $5000. Motivated seller.
PM me if questions.

How bout I drop it to $4000. Cant really do much better than that.Lets get this party started..
This car is solid and has a great color on it. Factory color..

Wow I remember Knox Dodge in Somerville. Long gone now. I believe they were on Rt 16. Being from Salem Mass. I remember riding past that dealership as a child. That car is in fantastic condition considering it is a New England Car. My Duster was purchased new at Harbor Chrysler Plymouth in Fall River Mass. Wish it was a 2 door but you posted it on the best site to sell it to someone who will take care of it. Bump for your sale and Good Luck!!!

Thanks! If it was a two door it would be going no where. I wonder if it had a two door sibling in that color combo with a 340 4 speed...

Wow, what a sweet car !!!
I just bought a 68 dart 4 door yesterday (same color)and now I know what it looked like when new....
That car is beautiful.

Thanks TX Dart. Would love to see it go to somebody that will preserve it or restore it. Hate to let it slip away but..The car is a perfect candidate for a OE gold A-body easy restoration.
