Hows it going guys, not sure if this is the correct section to post this. The drivers and passengers side window have a gap between the window and body below is pictured the gap but looks bigger in the picture then it actually is. When washed water will get in. What are the names of the seals starting behind the wing windows on the body side all the way to the back window and what brand/seller would you recommend?
Thank you
Joe

The doors line up nicely to the rest of the body so I believe it to be the seals but I'm not sure of the name of them or who would have them that are good.

Is there a way to just adjust the windows themselves or would the door have to move also?

I would evaluate the fit of the door glass to the seal. Hard to tell if the seals have any noticeable gaps due to cracking or tearing. If they are the factory seals and still in good shape, they will seal better than any of the reproduction seals that are available.

Is it just one piece of glass or do all of the glass have issues. Has the car been worked on prior? Glass adjustment is tedious and can be a time consuming task. A very slight adjustment can really be really good or bad, it is a lots of trial and error for most people.

Your looking at the roof rail seals to answer your question. Depending upon the manufacturer and vendor expect to pay between $65 to $175 for a pair of them.

There are 3 bolts for adjusting the glass .

1 in front just below the vent window frame
1 on bottom of door up in a 1" hole that adjust the vertical portion of the vent frame/glass channel
1 at back of the door just above the latch .

The car has been repainted a while back (I believe sometime in the 90’s) but I am not sure if any body panels have been removed or if the seals have been replaced. I would have to check to see if the backs seal better or if they are the same. I will also have to see if I can locate the adjustment bolts to see if that helps. I was not aware there were adjustment bolts for the glass. Thank you guys I will have to look and get back to you when I have time to check. Also what bolt would you adjust to bring the glass closer to be roofline of the car?
