I have for sale a 1968 only A-Body, 318/340 4-speed cast iron bell housing. From what I discovered, this is a 1 year only piece and is quite rare. Casting # 2843887 with a casting date code K 1 7. (November 1, 1967?). It comes with the OEM 130 tooth flywheel, the lower inspection cover and the front dust cover. In addition, this package has the clutch fork pivot bracket and the cross shaft (Z-bar) ball bracket. The trans bearing retainer diameter hole measure 4.354” I would like to get $450.00 for everything. The down side to this is that it’s very heavy so shipping would be super expensive so I would prefer a pickup or depending on location, I can meet part way for the cost of gas and any tolls.
