1968 Super Stock Hemi Barracuda tribute For Sale

Well here we go. It’s time to sell this girl and build something else. I’ve always said “I have more fun building them than I do owning them”. This car was finished last year and has meet every expectation I was looking to achieve. I wanted it to be very streetable, plenty of power, sound like a vintage race car and be show worthy. Here is a break brown on the build.

Body;
Gray colored paint to simulate the look of primer
Glasstek fiberglass lift off hood and fenders
Correct seats and seat tracks
Radio and heater delete just like factory.
Correct door glass window pull straps.
Vintage Stewart Warner tach drive tachometer and oil pressure gauge.
Correct 14” front wheel and tires.
Correct 15” rear wheels with special offset and tires.
Correct Bias Ply tires
Correct Super Stock battery mounted in truck.
Correct side view mirror

Engine:
528ci. Hemi
Ray Barton rotating assembly, 10.4 compression. Pump gas friendly.
Bullet custom flat tappet cam with tool steel lifters.
Edelbrock aluminum heads, lightly ported and cleaned up.
Aluminum crossram with correct 770cfm Holley carbs.
Glenn Ray radiator.
MSD 6AL hidden with modified Prestolite tach drive distributor.
TTI headers, factory looking exhaust.
Machine work by QMP and assembled by myself.
Approximately 630hp

4 speed trans.
New Brewers 833 18 spline trans
Correct style Hurst shifter with NOS reverse lock out.
Centerforce clutch
Dana 60 rear differential with 3:54 gears, correct B body length with all new internal components.

I restored this car in my garage. The only things I did not do myself was applied the paint and built the transmission. I have been restoring Mopars for over 40 years with many awards under my belt.

This car debuted this April 2022 at CPWs Spring Fling car show in Van Nuys California where it took first place in Class and Best of Show. This car is very streetable and easy to drive. She has about 400 miles on the restoration. I have been following these superstock cars for the last 30 years and I have learned a lot from them. All that knowledge has gone into this car to try and make it as correct as possible. The undercarriage is as detailed as the outside of the car.

$85,000 obo.

Possible trades plus cash. Looking for:
1969 Charger 500
1968 Hemi B body
1968, 1969 Super Bee, R/T or A12

Located in Simi Valley California

Thanks for reading. Troy Bray
