According to Galen there were 325 1969 Baracuda 340 Formula S cars produced. Does anyone have a breakdown of how many were automatics and how many were 4-speeds? Thanks

According to mymopar.com there where 1455 built.

BH29P9 4SPD 1969BARRACUDA2 DR S/HDTP340-4INC.A53 PKG. 1455

You are right on the bh29p9 4-seepd 2-door sport hardtop 340 with the a53 package was 1455.

However, and i should have mentioned up front, this is the bh23p9 4-seepd 2-door hardtop 340 with the a53 package and the production numbers according to galen are 325. However, there is no breakdown in his book on automatics and 4-speeds.

Not sure if Galen is talking the notchies only, or what. I have his prod book here somewhere, but I know for sure there were approx 125 69 340 formula s verts, of which 34 were 4 spd. If there were 125 total "S" verts, the 325 number is off, but that could be for notch only.

how many 69 340 A56 cuda package COUPE,s with automatics were built?

Thank you, that is what I was looking for.

As to how many 69 340 A56 cuda package COUPE,s with automatics were built? According to Galen's 1969-1971 White Book, there were 98 Total with 68 4-speeds and 30 automatics.

30, almost got one until the seller backed out for $800, minus original drive train, black interior & exterior and it was auto on the column with a bench! It even had the fender tag & build sheet. :banghead:
