Located in Rocky Top Tennessee just north of Knoxville.
Up for sale is my 69 Formula S 340 Fastback Barracuda. This is not the 'Cuda S option. I have had this car since 1978. It had 62,000 miles on it when I bought it. It has 106,000 on it now. The car is B 5 Blue, black stripe with engine call out numbers. It came with the wide rocker trim and painted black rocker. It has the Formula S Medallion on the trunk finish panel. It has the deluxe Mediterranean blue interior with special light group. The 340 package and upgraded suspension. It is manual brakes and steering. I have the original window sticker. I have a clear Tennessee title, the parts car has no title. It has the 150 speedo and built in tac. 727 trans and 8 3/4 rear with 741 case and 3.91:1 sure grip. I went thru nine 340 engines and one 318 engine from '78 to '84 when I quit driving it. The original engine was taken out in 78 with broken compression rings and left in a friends basement, it was the Turquoise painted one. His dad hauled them to the shredder without letting us know. We lost 3 other 340's, a 440, two 383's several trans, intakes, heads. I guess his Dad got tired of us junkin' his place up That was a bummer.
Anyway, I have driven the car to Chicago, St. Louis, Roanoke, Atlanta, Dallas, and Galveston. Every time I got out in it on long trips, I would lose a compression ring and blow oil every where. Never blew an engine. I blew the trans lines also going to Chicago. I would pretty much assume this is why the floors and rails on the car are still in remarkable shape and none need to be replaced.
Then life intervened, a couple of times. I have gathered most all parts to fix it with, the sad conclusion is it will never be fixed by me.
I ran inner fender headers on it for a couple of years, thus the hacked up inner fenders.
The hood, header panel, trunk deck and lh qtr quarter are pretty much toast. The right qtr will need a lower patch panel. The rest is surface rust. The cowl area may be of concern.
I have two really nice fenders, 2 hoods, trunk deck, full left hand quarter panel. I have another grille, header panel. tail lights, dash pad, two extra bumpers with brackets, original hub caps (these looked similar to the 8 lug version on the early Pontiac Gran Prix-turbine style). I have the original hi po exhaust manifolds, 727 trans, and drive shaft. I have a complete 69 long block with U heads and the big valves. My son and I put this engine in his 67 Dart until he built his own 360, so it does run. It is still hooked up to the original 727.
I have the parts car to go with it. Mostly toast. It has doors, some interior parts, and all the glass. It has a 318 with 904 and 7 1/4 rear. It has been great storage for the fenders. I also have a complete, with e brake cables, 66-67 B Body 8 3/4 rear with an 742 open gear and complete disc change over from a 74 Valiant.
The car comes with a very nice set of small bolt pattern rallyes and very good tires.

I will not separate the parts.

Please don't tell me I should have sold it long ago and how rusty it is.
It is what it is and I had every intention of fixing it.

The pics (over 100) can be found at Photobucket. Please tell me if you have problems with the pictures.

$6200.00 cash only no trades.
You can set up an appointment to come see the car and parts. The only way I will hold the car is a $500.00 deposit towards the purchase, that will be NON-refundable after 14 days.
You will arrange all pick ups and transportation of the cars and parts.
I do not really want to sell the car, so please be courteous, responsible, and serious.
Thanks very much.
