Up for sale is my 69 Barracuda, The Killer Fish.

This car started its life on a farm in Fla. with Ivy Green paint, Green and Yellow Mod interior and Ivy Green vinyl top. As rare as that combination is, I just couldn't restore it to its original look. This car was stored in a barn for most of its life. I am the 3rd owner and I bought it in 1995. After several years of a complete restoration, it has new Paprika Red paint. There is an all new Black deluxe interior with bucket seats, console floor shift, 150 mph speedo, factory in-dash tach and original AM/FM thumbwheel radio. I kept the original 318 as it still runs very strong with only 130,000 miles. It now has electronic ignition, an Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock 4 bbl., TTI headers ceramic coated by Jet Hot with lifetime warranty, 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust, an H pipe, Moroso spiral flow mufflers and stainless exhaust tips. It is loud under acceleration. I added a new 727 A trans to a 8 3/4 rear, 742 case, 3.55 sure-grip and Green axle bearings. I opted for acceleration over highway speed. I also re-anodized the original Aluminum tail panel and then painted the panel with Organosol Black to compliment the Black hood stripes. Added new HD shocks & new polygraphite bushings all way round and re-arched the leaf springs. It has Radial T/A tires & Centerline Aluminum wheels w/ 14" x 6" on front and 15" x 7" at rear. The car has no power brakes and 10" drums all the way around, it makes for interesting driving sometimes. I closed in the cowl intake and antenna hole for a smooth hood appearance and added traditional Black hood stripes for the 69 but without the scoops. I scrapped every bit of the old undercoating off the under side and repainted it. The floors were coated with POR and heat reflective flooring and also added sound proofing. And for a custom touch, I hand tinted the front parking light lenses with a 2 tone translucent Red over Orange and added a Red pin stripe around the inside of the Black front grilles. All in all, a very fun car to drive and turns a lot of heads. I probably have most every receipt that was generated by the restoration.

The wiper motor will not park the wipers in the park position.

The drivers side header of Jet Hot coating is peeling at the collector. There is a life time warranty for them.

The A/C does not work.

The heater core does not work so I disconnected the hoses.

There is a small indentation on the center front bumper.

There are two small bubbles appearing at the rear quarter panel.

There is an area in trunk spare tire well between the two gas tank braces that has some flaking. The car will come with new trunk panels in a box and a new gas tank in a box.

I am asking $22,500. The car is located in Lothian, MD. Near Upper Marlboro, MD.

So is it a Mod Top car? Or just some parts were installed? Fender Tag will show color combination.

It was ordered for the owners wife to drive around the farm. It came with the mod interior and a plain green vinyl top.
