1969 Barracuda steering column id

Looking at a parts book 1969 barracuda lists a different column for the small block and the 383 cars, What is different . Also how do I tell the difference from a manual column to a power steering column. Thanks

Manual column has a longer shaft sticking out of the bottom! Maybe 6 inches as opposed to about 3 for a power column!
