i have a 69 dart for sale. i m in byron ill (61010) car was 6 cyl with 7.25 rear, now 340 727 8.75. car has good trunk and floor pans, gonna need work on drivers quarter,has normal dings dents and less than "perfect" paint. has schumacher mounts,cable type kickdown cable,msd 6 al,big ugly accel coil,hooker headers,battery in trunk, 16 gal. jaz fuel cell,2.5 exhaust with 40 series flowmasters,cheetah shifter, autometer gauges ,rearced springs. trans is 727 with less than 5000 miles on it,3800 tci stall w/ less than 500 miles on it, deep cooling pan and cooler w/ braided lines. 8.75 with new seals, brakes when i put car together less than 5000 miles ago,4:10 richmond r&p, with mini spool less than 500 miles ago,489 case. sbp ralleyes w/ rings and caps.1968 340 blockw/ j heads,was told 11:25 pistons when i bought this motor, motor developed big tick , ran when i pulled it.spun #3 rod bearing, peice of bearing flattened cam lobe some, visually block looks good, heads look good,crank has what may be bearing mat. on it,biggest gouge will catch your fingernail, not much worse than that,i was going to take it to machine shop,but things change in this economy ,i dont know how bad it will be,but was told if it ran thats better than not.have everthing to run,asking $4000. thanks for looking.am trying to post pics, here is the ebay item#120583744777. sorry its not clickable but it is the best i could do so far!
