I wondered if our old drag car was still around? 1969 Road Runner, built 383, we cut the rear wheel openings to clear 12 inch slicks. It was painted Hemi Orange with a black vinyl top. We built around 1979, and sold it a few years later here in North Florida.

Grew up in Jax moved to Tampa Bay in 89. Haven't seen that one...
 
We paid $100 for it with a spun rod bearing. Around the same time we bought a 1969 Super Bee with a torn open quarter panel (fire hydrant) for $150, and it was almost perfect other than that. Those were the days!

I remember a Bee at Jerry's in Starke w/ a badly repaired 1/4 in the early 90s
