Looking at a couple different cars to build into low buck street/strip car and i stumbled across a '69 Valiant Signet but know nothing about them. It seems to be the lightest of the A bodies. So i've got a couple questions, and I'm open to hearing anyones opinion on these cars. Its a slant 6 auto right now. Are there any known issues with this platform? Will big blocks fit in them? What most likely will the trans and rearend be? Anyone on here race one?
Thanks in advance

Big block will fit. I'm not sure there is a "low buck" build these days, but you can make a damn fine street/strip car that will demand a lot of attention anywhere you take it.. Good Luck!

Yeah I'm kinda partial to em myself:)

most likely a 904 auto with 7 1/4 rear. yes big block will fit. they are an excellent platform for either race or street. not much difference between 67, 68, 69. there are alot of excellent examples on here. mine is a 67 signet. would love a 69 next. good luck
