Are you sure on the vin #, 1 being year 1971, E there is no E probably a B for barracuda, then the 6 digit sequence # what is the casting date? probably early to mid 1970. I have a 71 block vin# 1B391422 casting date is 7-1-70 It could be for sale if some one needs it.

Yes its an E... Chrysler built cars in LA in 71... No Barracuda's or Challengers

Are you saying that Chrysler didn't build Cudas and Challengers in LA? Sure they did. It closed at the end of the 71 model year.
