Hello. I have a 1970 dart 340. I removed the dash to get it restored and found that the wiring harness is labeled 71 from previous owner. Gauges never worked. I bought a 70 dash harness to correct this, The harnesses seem to be almost exact except for a couple spots. I noticed on the 70 harness I dont have the same connection to the horn relay. i put in a 70 engine harness with Chrysler electronic ignition as well it was points before. Can I use a 70 harness on a 71 dash that the owner put on a 70 car? Also are the steering columns different for 70 71?
