Hi all. Renewed member from a while ago. Car is located in Westminster MD 21157. 1970 dart swinger 2dr. $4000. Comes with lots of original parts not pictured. They are piled in the shed so hard to get to.
Car no longer has the slant 6 and original auto. There is a 360 block and 727 (i think) from a mid 70's pick up in it now for mocking up purposes. Original front steering linkage and torsion bars also gone. Figured the parts that I no longer have is a shorter list than the ones I do.
Still have original K member, ac unit, heater core, wiring, grill, Bumpers and mounting brakes. And a slew of other parts.
Very solid car when purchased 11 years ago. I started restoring it and then life took a different course and moved out of my large garage. So It has been sitting in storage for the last 8 years. Car was on a rotisserie, floors blasted, primed, sealed and painted. Engine bay, trunk area/lid and doors are cut in with deep water blue. Mopar color. The doors and body have minimal filler, less then 1/8". Then primed and block sanded and resprayed with spray poly. Fender and doors were not finished as I was planning to replace them and do a fiberglass hood. Or one that was in better shape.
Body mods include quarter panel turn signals deleted, mini tubbed, spring relocation, diy sub frame connectors, and a custom front suspension kit from a speed shop in Colorado. The one issue with this front suspension kit is the rack and pinion will not line up properly with the front steering arms. Could be that it needs the drum break version which I've read are longer.
The bumpers look like they are as straight as when they came from the factory. Chrome is shot though, see pic
Would like to see the car go to someone who would enjoy it and finish the build. $4000 cash. Not willing to part any of this out. Buyer takes all. Local pick up preferred.
