Car is located in SE South Dakota, zip code 57103. It is an original 318 automatic. Body is straight with little rust behind tire on lower quarter. Glass is good, chrome is good. No rust in trunk, floors, or fenders. Motor, transmission, and suspension rebuilt in early 2006. Starts everytime with no issues. Originally was a big block project with big plans. Deciding to go with a duster/demon/dart sport. Asking $4250/OBO, also willing to accept trades and/or money....

What rear is in it ? 7.25 still ?

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Hard to find running, drivable cars for $4000 now that dont have gapping rust holes in the 1/4s. Good luck with the sale.

Ya it is a 7.25. The only rust that was bad was at the bottom of the vinyl. I removed the vinyl, then sanded, smoothed, and primered the "dead" area. Runs and drives great though. $4000 is what I am looking for but figured I would start at $4250 just in case.

Could possibly meet buyer a partial distance to deliver...

Nice car, would make a very nice start on a hot rod or a great
daily driven sleeper.

Cool handle!

I am also only the 3rd owner. Still has previous owners registration from dealership and the mechanic that owned it previously. FWIW.

Council Bluffs, IA seems fair. That's a little more than half or so. Just let me know.

haay, i`m in Tampa, fl. ...can u bring it by here so i can take a look?
(haha, just kidd`n)
thats a heck of a testdrive! buy that one!
...i`m quickly approaching the 4k figure on my 71...and it has rust in the pass rear window, trunk lip, spare tire well...and its a slant 6! (plus scads of other little bug-a-boo gremlins, like my continually shorting/fuse popping, turn signals)
i would have loved to find yours before i bought mine! (i blame E-Bay! ...oh well ...i still love mine)

Are you willing to try ebay with a reserve? Alot of people look regularly there. I don't know what the ebay fee would be(you could have your reserve cover the fee), but it does give good exposure.

It's been a couple of years since I sold a car on eBay. It was $40 to list and another $40 if it sold. I don't know what it costs now. Make sure you read up on it.

Have you tried Moparts?

I have a friend that has a 73-76 Duster that might be willing to do some trading, but the distance is kind of killer.

I found a 71 340 duster in MN, about 3 hours from me that I like. It has the disk brakes and the 8 3/4 already but no motor or tranny...

As bad as this sounds I sold out... I bought a 1969 Satellite. So, I need to sell this to make up for the cash spent. I am lowering the price to $3500. If interested offers will be accepted as well.

Thats a hell of a price, I wish you were closer, even in Washington, I would look at it.

Phil

Good Luck
