Bought my first Mopar looking to build a 408. This is totally out of my wheelhouse as I have always had Pontiacs before. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

1970 is the best year for Darts! I might be a little biased.

Blueprint engines are a vendor here and offer a great warranty on their 408 and other engines.
