My 4 speed shaft is longer than the one you have. Its like 50-5/8" long center to center on the yokes. But I'm not sure if 69 to 70 would be the same length.

It came out of a 66 Dart that had the complete driveline out of a 71 340 727 Duster. But I had a conversation with crackedback and he was saying that 49.5 is the measurement of a 3sd. or a 4speed. I just bought a 72 340 4speed Duster. I'll have to measure that one.
