1970 Non-Console B-Body Pistol Grip in A-Body?

What does this look like? Does it even work or will it hit the dash? Just wondering what it looks like installed compared to the 71+ style?

I have seen people run the 71 B body bench seat pistol grip in an A body. Looks good in there. The car was a 70 swinger with a bench.

The reason I ask is because I had bought the '70 B-Body shifter by mistake, now me not having the longest arms am curious if it would work out better for me or if I should return it for the one everyone else is using? I just want to know if using the '70 style is even possible...
