I have a few questions which some our members might be able to help me with. In early 1972 my brother bought a 1971 Demon 340 off a car lot. The car only had a few thousand miles on it and was virtually brand new. It had butterscotch paint with white side stripes and a white vinyl roof. The interior was an orange and black plaid fabric. It also had a torqueflite automatic, a.c., ps/pb, road wheels, sure grip, etc.

Does anyone know how rare this car was, and has anyone ever seen one like it? I'm just asking for nostialgia purposes. Thanks.

Sorry. It was similar to this, but had white stripes and a white vinyl roof. Also had road wheels.

Not the pumpkin bucket interior is my guess. It was a bench seat with the plaid insert code M1X9

bet that's a super rare combo. I ve seen the interior, and color, but never together with white stripes. I have a butterscotch demon and have seen others like it, but I don t think I ve seen more than 1 with white stripes. very cool
