1971 Demon vent window reseal

Howdy! Going to order new runner for vent windows. Beside rubber seals, on eBay I also see rolls of foam and butyl strips offered by some sellers to "supplement"? The install. Do I need this?

2: My vent glass will slide up and down a little on the hinge side.. How do I remedy that?

Whoops my bad. I guess they are pop out windows. No wonder I wasn't getting many hits when I searched for "demon duster vent window seal"
