First i wanna say great site lots of useful info here. I have a 1971 dodge dart swinger originally a slant 6 car i purchased the car 16 years ago with a 318 in it. I then purchased a 1968 340 i was told it had been bored 30 over im not sure im not a mechanic but runs fine. The car currently has the 340 full msd ignition 6al box distrubitor. Has a 904 and 71/4 rearend in the car, i have a 727 that would not shift after someone tried to put a shift kit in it so not sure whats going on there. I also have a 8 1/4 housing with axles and 3.55 gears sure grip no brakes on it all new part never had gear oil in it. The interior i had late 90s buckets from a firebird upholstered to match the black back seat. The bad now gas gauge doesnt work i replaced the sending unit it worked for a few days but now isnt working. The speedo doesnt work which we all know doesnt turn the odometer, but i have drove the car maybe a dozen times in the past 7 years the previous 5 was in storage before that it was a daily driver for me to high school. It does have some bubbling at the base of where the water runs down of the top back by the bottom of the back window and some bubbling behind passenger rear wheel. The carb needs some work its a holley 600 four barrel when i try to accelerate it falls on its face at first. The odometer reads 43000 i would say its closer to maybe 46000. Reason for selling is simply i dont have the time it just sits in my garage i do not have to sell so please dont low ball me it can sit maybe in 20 year when my kids are grown up i might get back to it. With that being said i hope i covered everything if not ask questions i will answer the best i can. I am located in norwalk iowa suburb of des moines iowa.
