1971 Dodge Demon340 windshield Tinted or Not?

I have a 1971 Dodge Demon 340 and my body guy just told me the windshield is no good...lament is coming apart? Anyway he purchased a PPG windshield before asking me and it is green with the upper blue tint?? Is this correct for a 1971 Dodge Demon Hamtramck built car with non A/C. I see that everyone offers tinted or clear but, is the correct application?

It was possible to get H51 with clear glass , as was it possible to get tinted glass without getting a/c .

Look on your Demon's fender tag for :
H51
G08
G11
* sometimes "G08" isn't coded on the tag , as that just means "clear glass - all" .
"G11" = "Tinted glass-all" ( iirc ... )

With the a/c option , there's a very good chance your Demon has at least a tinted windshield .

Thank You, My car is non A/C. So as I thought...should be clear glass. Body guys always trying to pull a fast one....

WOW!! don't mean to step on any Body guys shoes..It was just a joke...Happens to be a friend of mine, he just ordered it before telling me! I think something happened to the original :dontknow: He claims it was delamenating...and yes it is #'s matching if that matters. I just wanted the correct glass...He said the tint was faded but, I do not believe it was a tinted glass
