1971 duster

Hey Everyone. I thought I would start a thread for my 71 duster. I have had this car a few years as a driver. This year I decided to take it down and repaint. The car looked good from 10 feet but I knew it needed attention and I was tired of putting band aids to fix it. The plan will be to keep it period correct but to make it better than anything that rolled out of the factory. the video is from last summer before I tore it down

I am in the duster behind the camero. I want to post some pics of it torn down but it seems the file is to big, anyone wave some suggestions on how to post pics.

Ok, here are some pics of the car once I had it sanded. As you can see I found some filler in the RR QTR, After I dug it all out I found that someone put a skin on it and did a pretty bad job, it was about 1/4" thick in some places. I am going to replace both side qtrs.

Well, I had to do qtrs. Those old ones were a pos and I wanted to do it right. I am put AMD qtrs on. Those are great. I would use them again.
