Started the rebuild when I was 16, and I am now 21. My Grandpa has taught me a lot of stuff during this time. I took some paint and body classes at our college so I could do most of the body work and paint by myself. It has been fun. Car has motor and transmission in. 340 with 727. 4.10 gears...still need a sure grip for an 8.25 rear end.

Dude that is looking good... Need some more pics! What all did you have to replace on the body? Any quarters and such.. I love the color

We replaced the drivers quarter. In the end it would have been easier to put in small patches.

The passenger quarter on mine has a pretty good crease running full length and gathers some metal right at the rear side maker making it almost impossible to work back out. Looks like it was drug down a guardrail lightly but the waves at the rear marker are what worries me. No luck with them yet. also the tire rubbed the quarter and pushed it out making it look a lil funky. Not sure if I will be able to work it out or if i need to get the spot weld cutter out.

We have a replacement passenger quarter for a 71 scamp if you would be interested

More pics!!

Dude-that is a great lookin' Scamp! I'd like mine to be that nice, but I don't like it sitting down long before I really want to drive it.
