When I was a kid my dad had a 1971 Scamp in what I believe was Sherwood Green Metallic with a green vinyl top, green interior, 318 and auto trans. He sold it somewhere between 1995 and 1997 (I think) at the Cars + Parts Swap Meet in Springfield, OH. I've been looking for the car since I was about 14 and haven't been able to locate it. So when a nearly identical car (with the exception of the /6) showed up on eBay I knew I had to try to get it! I was fortunate enough to win the bid! It'll be a while before it's back on the road, but I'm looking forward to the restoration. And if anyone knows anything about that other Scamp please let me know! Thanks!
