1972 360 small block . I was told this has about 3000 miles since it was rebuilt. $700

Any paperwork on the rebuild? Looks like a little more than 3000 miles.

no paper work, sat around a while .. looks clean inside

See If he has a video of it running, or at do a compression check on it because I does look like it has a few more miles on it.

I paid 300 for my 360, he showed me a video of it running too. $700 is pretty good if he can prove there is only 3000 miles on it.

Maybe the original builder didnt want to paint it, But I would lightly powerwash it and maybe invest in a can of mopar blue. From the thermostat housing and the front of the engine, it looks like it has seen many miles.
