This 1972 Dart was purchased last fall in New Jersey I drove it home with no issues. It has a slant 6 225 automatic and the 7 1/4 rear-end all original.
I have only driven it a few more times around town. My intensions were to put a 360 Magnum, 727 trans, and a 8 3/4 Posi rear in which I was able to get all of these items.
I have a rebuilt 360 Magnum motor with a Hughes roller cam Air Gap intake etc. Never run. I also have an 8 3/4 A body 489 case rear end with 3.23 gear Posi clutch type too.

Car runs drives and brakes well you could drive it home has a trans leak and oil leak which I have not attempted to look at.
Unfortunately the previous owned got this car painted somewhere and it is the victim of poor prep work as the paint wants to chip off in several places down to bare metal.
Again the body is solid as far as I can see and to make it nice again it would need to be repainted.
The Car is very solid with no holes in the floors, no frame rot, Trunk has surface rust only with the exception of one hole under the spare tire about 2 inches long.
The dash is cracked as you would expect, however I have a brand new Dash pad, also included are original Kelsey Hayes Disk brakes spindles rotors etc. I also have a complete kit to rebuild the entire front end.

The car came with a 1971 grill, but I have a good 1972 grill that would go with the car.

I will sell the car for $5,500 without the the 360, 727 and rear-end.

If you want those included I will make a package deal.

The 360 is a 2001 Magnum standard bore, block has been hot tanked with brass freeze plugs, honed, and new bearings, rings, rod, main bolts oil Pump, oil pan.
Has Professional products harmonic balancer, Heads are stock and have been magna fluxed for cracks and milled .010 with complete valve job.

Has a brand new Huges roller Camshaft ( see picture for specs ) Also has a new Air Gap aluminum intake. ( speed Master ) Edlebrock 1406 600 CFM carburetor electric choke.

Mopar Magnum Aluminum finned Valve covers.

The Rear End IS out of a Mopar A body 8 3/4 Has a 489 case with the clutch type factory posi unit and a 3.23 gear small bolt pattern axles, will come with a new set of green bearings as well.

Small block 727 trans that was working when pulled, I would rebuild it however.

Car only with parts $5,500
Car with 360, 727 and rear-end $7,500 ( great deal )
