My duster has a crack at the roof and rear quarter seam...anyone know if the seam is spot welded from the factory ,,,any clues on how I should go about repairing this? Thanks

Yes, spot welded & rust commonly forms in between the layers.

It could be body filler or lead to hide the seam. Cracks are common, so to find out if rust is an issue, the filler has to be removed.

Over the welded seam i suggest a thin coat of fiberglass aka kitty hair then body filler.
