1972 Plymouth Duster

Solid A body. Originally from southeastern Tennessee..(Maryville).
Early build date.. August 1971.
Sold new in November 1971.

Rust free, floors, subframes, cross members, cowl panel, torsion bar mount, inner fenders, rockers.
Trunk floor is solid, but has been modified for a 16 gallon fuel cell. All body panels are rust free, and solid, but car does have a couple small bubble spots on the lower left side.

Passenger side quarter panel was replaced (professionally) years ago, due to a minor accident. The car was painted the current color at the same time. Paint is base coat/clear coat... in really good condition for it's age. Done about 25 years ago. Glass is good. Bumpers are good driver quality. Original Shark Tooth grille is in great condition, paint is a little faded. No cracks, or missing parts though.

$22,500 OBO
Comes with extra items
Send me a message if you are serious... thanks.

After thinking about it. I have decided to lower the price of this Duster.
Since everyone on here seems skeptical about the car, and not one question has been asked by anybody...
I'll make it clear to everyone.
This is a street -strip car.. NOT a show poodle. Sure it can hold it's own at a local show, as well as cruise nights. But it's main purpose is to go fast in a straight line.
It has no radio, the music comes from the solid cam and 3" exhaust. It has a fuel cell in the trunk, as most race cars do, if I'm not mistaken. You don't put your artsy fartsy leather luggage, or your wife's mink fur coat back there... you put tools, and coolers, and folding chairs..to spend a day at the track, trying to get the best time slip you can. I haven't taken it to a dragstrip since I have owned it...so the new owner can have the pleasure of doing that. Yup.. the paint is close to 30 years old... but it's held up extremely well, and still looks damn good, after all this time. It's not showroom perfect, but again... street -strip remember?
So, with that...I'll take $1,500 off..
*New price $ 21,000
If you're serious... send me a PM
NO lowballers... I'll ignore you.
