i have an all original 1972 valiant 225 6 cyl. it is my daily driver but i take good care of her. i was recently hit on the passenger side by a guy who was texting while driving. insurance totalled it . i am looking for a rear passenger door so i can get my baby back to its original state. gonna take some money and time but this car means a lot to me so im totally up for it. yes i got a check from insurance but it wasnt much. i found a door in wisconsin, but im in california. he said with shipping and everything it would cost over $500 to get it. trying to budget this all out and its a little pricey since i still need some body work and a paint job. NO, i WILL NOT earl sheib it! I want it done right. Im sure this community understands.
anyone know a good source for a door for me??
Also, my turn signal assembly went out about a year ago. i replaced it with one i found on ebay, a repro. it was super stiff and was really hard to move my blinker up and down. it eventually broke a couple months later. i had to bypass my horn, which i need to alert drivers of my presense when i see their heads down while texting and driving haha.
whats a good source for a turn signal switch assembly?
thanks for reading

The four doors are so common its hard to believe there isnt a donor closer to you. Id start with your network of local car guys and see what local yards may have the old classics still. At the very least I know north of you in Washington State there are so many 4 door cars its ridiculous! Hahah... It may be a little cheaper at least. But Id say.. local yards first... Wisconsin as a last resort.

Make sure you get a valiant rear door, a dart rear door will be different. Oh and 74-76 valiant wont fit either because those were just re-badged darts.

@4mulasvaliant and @daliant
Shoot, I exhausted all resources looking at yards, old dealers, signing up for companies that all came up empty handed. Fortunately I met a guy over the weekend that said he can fix the door with out replacing it and do rest of body work all for $1100. Be ready in a week. Think it's fair?
Also, what do u think about turn signal switch assembly?
I also forgot to include that the wire harness connector that came with that last one didn't quite fit right, so I had to take each wire out and hook them through the old harness connector. Not bad but it was the first sign that I thought this thing was a piece of crap. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I have a 72 4 door valiant I'm parting out. I live in indiana, but we may be able to strike a deal that beats the 500 price. If you would like, I can look into shipping costs
