Price: $5,500.00 Firm (includes everything listed below)

Will not part out or separate any parts. Please do not ask.

Selling my 1973 Plymouth Duster project. I have recently had some life changes since I started the project in 2022 (major role/responsibility change in my career) and do not see myself having the time to get this project across the goal line in the next several years. Hoping someone wants to take the project over and see it through and free up some space for me to perhaps purchase a completed Duster.

My plans were to make this a restomod, so some of the parts and direction I took represent that vision.

The car was initially torn down, bagged, put into bins and chemically stripped locally here in the Milwaukee area. At that point I found a bit more metal work than expected (surprise surprise), but I was already committed and started to procure parts and panels. The sale should include all the body/sheet metal/donor parts needed to complete the body.

The car has a WI title, fender tag, and the VIN on the rear package tray matches. It was originally a 340/auto car, so relatively rare for 1973. It was a gold/parchment car – however most of the interior had been converted to black at some point. It will need a lot of interior work – and had incorrect buckets in the car when I purchased it (those have since been given away). I had intentions of making it a bench seat car with manual transmission that looked factory stock – even though it was a restomod. Includes some body, service, parts manuals and body drawings too.

Not include but negotiable ONLY to the buyer: 1972 340 block (never bored) that pressure tests and magnafluxed good. My engine shop felt that 0.020” over would be all this needs. I will not separate, and I actually may want to keep this for the future. We can discuss price in person but these are rare, and I kind of want to keep this.

Included:
Custom Frame Table (over $1500 in steel and adjustable feet)
Custom dolly with heavy duty Colson casters

Sheet metal work completed/installed:
AMD Inner & Outer Rockers

AMD Front Leaf Spring Mounts (driver and passenger)

AMD Front Right Fender
Donor Left Front Fender
AMD Radiator Support
USCARTOOL Subframe connectors
USCARTOOL Torque Box reinforcement brackets (front and rear / left and right)

Donor 1973+ V8 K-member
Donor Decklid

Driveline:
No engine/transmission included
Has 8.75 rear axle (stripped) with 489 3rd member case (stripped). I had planned to build a robust rear out of these parts.

Suspension & brakes:
Have all oem front suspension parts and brakes – will need to be gone through. Will need rear leaf springs. I had not planned to use any of the stock components.

Needs (probably missing a few things here):
Glass – specifically windshield and rear glass. Door glass and rear quarter windows are good from what I recall during tear down.
Interior parts are driver quality – will need some work here. Has most of the interior parts that were in the car when I bought.
Front seats (Had incorrect buckets when I bought, I was going to swap to a bench)
Dash pad is cracked
Dash had been cut for a modern stereo at some point - I was going to patch.
Bumpers (included, but have some rust – candidate for painting or metal work and re-chrome or paint)
2-3 minor patches needed (trunk drip rail, pass side A pillar) outside of the above-mentioned sheet metal - I have several sheets of various gauge steel I can include for misc patched
Hood will need some work on the underside, a donor hood may be a better option depending on time investment
Will need complete wiring harnesses
Tail lights, marker lights, headlights, etc are included but likely need work or donor / replacement

Please ask questions or PM if you want to see this.

Still available, added tons more pictures to the 1973 Duster Gallery

I had to move the parts recently due to a family real estate sale, so I had a chance to go through everything as I relocated it.

Also, the door, quarter and rear glass is all in excellent shape and is OEM/Mopar. I incorrectly stated it needed rear glass above. It will need a windshield.

The rear bumper is very usable, the front bumper will need some metalwork and re-chrome or painting.
