This is upper gearshift lever spring on a automatic on the column. I have everything but the spring that returns the arm as if you were selecting a gear. It doesn't go back into the locked position once you've selected your gear. Anyone have a part # and where to get a replacement? Thanks.
 
I just tossed one on garbage day. I'm sure someone has a junk column around.
 
I have one out of a '71 column that I converted to floor shift. If you think it's the same, I will send it to you if you provide an address. Just to be sure, you are talking about the spring that sits at end of shift handle where handle inserts into column ?
