LOCATED IN SUMNER, WA
$2750 OBO
NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING, NEEDS TOWED
I HAVE THE TITLE
Duster in need of a restoration. I had plans to do it myself but life went a different direction and it has been sitting under cover for years. Has the 225 slant-six paired with a 3-speed torqueflite transmission. The engine is complete and runs when all wired up, and the transmission I know works as the car drove before I took it apart. Was originally pale green inside and out, the body has been repainted several times. Panels are straight and solid other than a ding in the rear passenger corner, which someone attempted to fix in the past.
Rundown of everything I've done:
- New head gasket, valve stem seals, valve cover gasket, painted valve cover red
- New alternator and voltage regulator
- Repaired rusted out floor pans and coated interior side with anti-rust coating
- Disassembled and repainted steering column components, everything minus the steering wheel has a fresh coat of gloss black or silver paint on it.
- Disassembled and repainted bracketry and linkages for brake and gas pedals. Brake pedal hinge has new bushings/grease and swings freely.
- Started work on fully custom instrument panel, photos to the guages and the point I got to seen below (equus gauges: speedo, tach, oil press., volt meter, fuel level, engine temp.| Real wood faceplate, layered with dark wood veneer and coated in epoxy, needs holes drilled for gauges. Planned on using OEM panel border piece.)
- Rebuilt carburetor (was done some years ago, possibility that fuel has slightly varnished since last ran)
- Purchased new side marker lenses from classic industries
Lots of parts come with this car, to do with as you please:
- Everything that was stripped off the car (A/C components, fuel lines and good condition tank, interior panels/parts, etc.)
- Brand new alternator, still in the box (on top of new on already in car)
- Brand new heater core, still in the box
- 3 extra tires, 2 are mounted on steel rims
- Coilovers for all 4 wheels, though their condition is dubious
- Extra pairs of leaf springs and torsion bars
- Parts for front disc brake conversion, including front hubs and control arms, brake master cylinder, brake lines, adjustable brake proportioning block (Need front ball joints and bushings, rotors need turned)
- Brand new engine mounts, not installed
- OEM bumper blocks that mount to the bumper
- Extra pair of tail light trim pieces
- Full set of brand new firewall seals
Cash is preferred
