Okay, I have no idea what forum this question actually belongs in, so here goes.
I would like to restore the bumper jack that came with our project car - a '75 Dart Sport. It will give me something to do while waiting for our garage shop to be built. I don't think I will ever use it, but I'd love to restore it to its former glory and place it in the trunk, fresh paint or powder coat as the case may be.
What were the official factory colors for the mechanism and the base? I'm pretty sure that the stem was left as that galvanized coating and that the tire iron was painted black.
