Well, unfortunately I need to sell the car. I don't have the time or money for it and with three other cars in need of help, I need the money more than the Plymouth. I am the third owner of this '76 Scamp and have had a lot of fun with it. Has new upper ball joints, new driver torsion bar, idler arm, rotors, wheel cylinders, pads and shoes as well as new front tires and fresh alignment. This is the only car I have that I can say everything works; a/c is cold, all the gauges and lights work, this is a great car for around town and long road trips. I just got back to Bradenton from the show at the Don Garlits museum and it handled the trip great. I've actually driven this car to Georgia twice with no issues and trust it cross-country. Currently just under 111K miles, but that number goes up everyday as I do drive this car to work and around town everyday. Could use body work, could use interior work and a few little things, but for a car that can be driven anywhere everyday, this is it. The slant six with automatic is a great combination for economy. I can deliver the car to anywhere within a couple hours of Bradenton, FL, all I ask is a ride home should I do that. In great shape for an unrestored, 40-year-old car. I've been asking $5,000. I'm flexible on that amount, make an offer, worst I can do is say no.

I should be picking up another engine for this car since the one in it is a little tired. Not sure when I'd be putting it in, but if the car sells before the engine swap, it will go with it. Original engine will sell with the car should I swap it.

New engine is in the car and running great. Keep in mind that I am still driving this everyday, so it will have a good durability test. Car will still come with original engine since I don't need it; may or nay not be in pieces upon time of purchase.

Reducing it now to $3000 obo. Now up to 112,000 miles and still driving everyday. Great restoration project and great road trip car even in it's current condition.
