1976 Plymouth Valiant/ Duster

The Good:

  • Was a 360 Console Car, Power Steering, Converted to Manual brakes.
  • Fold Down rear seat option – Great Condition
  • A Body 8 ¾ Rear end – 489 casting sure grip chunk with Richmond 4:10 gears
  • Mopar Performance Super Stock Springs
  • Go Wing (Quality repop)
  • 2 ½ Inch custom exhaust all the way back with Flowmasters
  • 1 5/8 headers (Headmans I think)
  • 904 trans with GER 4000 Stall Converter
  • B&M Mega Shifter (I also still have the original factory console but do not have the factory shifter or linkage) (Pick the console or the B&M shifter, I keep the other)
The Bad:

  • No Engine or Radiator. I am pulling the 340 currently in it to go into my 73 Duster.
  • No front Seats or Carpet. Those are going into my 73.
  • No Door Panels. Going into the other car.
The Ugly:

  • Paint is Rough
  • Rust in the lower rear quarter panels.
  • Damage in the tail panel where someone pried out the trunk lock.
  • The floor pan on the passenger’s side rusted out many years ago and I replaced just that section with a partial pan from year one. I did not do the best job on that. It is all solid but should have been done better.
This is a complete strong running car at the moment but I just bought a 73 that the body is in perfect condition so I am removing just the parts mentioned above and selling the 76 as a roller with trans and converter. I do not plan to pull the engine and seats until mid march (Unless sold sooner). After mid march, engine and seats will be in the other car.

Why am I selling it? I don’t do body work. Replacing the lower rear quarters and fixing the tail panel is beyond my skill and comfort level.

$2,500 with the Weld Racing Wheels, Mickey Thompson ET Streets and Skinny’s on front pictured.
Or
$2,000 with an old set of generic aluminum centerline knockoffs with very old tires that need to be replaced very soon.

Car is located in Marietta, Ga just outside of Atlanta.
