198 slant 6 value?

In reality, its Worthless.

I've had 2 running and driving slant vehicles recently. I tried for months to sell them as complete engines/drive trains. I advertised them as they were running and driving and could verify before sale. I ended up pulling my dart engine and kept the slant for a month or so before selling it for scrap to get it out of my way. My D100 had a slant with a 727. I offered it for a few months, pulled it and offered it for $200. Ended up giving it to my cousin for free and he hasn't had any luck selling it in nearly two years. It's a complete running slant, good 727 trans, drive shaft, exhaust, wiring, ignition, etc.

People might want them, but they won't pay for them.
I drove all the way from SW PA to El Reno to get My convertible GT, drug it back on a tow dolly, lol....

198's can be worthwhile only if you have some crazy dude willing to get or pull the parts. Most of them are not worth anything except to the 10-20 guys left on earth who are interested in building such things.
No young people are into these engines, just greyhairs or no hairs, because they take work to do anything with.

I just picked up 2 cranks and 1 set of rods in Ohio - ~5 Hours one way from here along with a complete long block and 2 904's for my buddy. I have to be careful now not to collect too many things. Good thing you are not closer to me!

@Darter6 I have a fresh, nice , not cracked, free flapper valve, no broken exhaust studs exhaust manifold that I just pulled off a '79 Volare. Send me a message if you want it. We can work something out.
