i have a 1981 dodge mirada. if you are unfamiliar with these cars, they were built from 1980 through 1983 to compete with the chevy monte carlo/cutlass/regal.
this one has survived very well considering chryslers assembly processes weren't the greatest in the early 80's.
this one is a completely rust-free car, ziebart rust protected when new, original paint, beautiful, near perfect vinyl interior, 318 2bbl/904 automatic trans, 2.94 geared 8 1/4 rear axle.
options are p/s, p/b, tilt,cruise, cold a/c, power windows, factory am/fm stereo, power seat, intermitent wipers and rear window defrost.
has some upgrades, i added full, aluminized dual exhaust with 40 series flowmaster mufflers last year, she rides on 15X8.5 american racing TTO torque-thrust rims and 225/70/15 white letter radials, these were put on about a year and a half ago, have around 2000 miles on them.
lots of new stuff, all tune up parts, fluids,filters,etc, were done about 6 months ago.
new battery too. starts, runs,and drives great. car has 54,*** original car, i got the car from the original family that has owned the car since new.
not a new one, car is 33 years old, could use a few minor repairs/cosmetics. the worst is the urethane surrounding the tail lights. as seen in the pics.
i have driven the car 4-5 hours straight at a time, with no worries or issues. jump in and daily drive anywhere. and gets 20mpg on highway trips, 17-18 around town.
