I'm selling my 1999 Dodge RAM 1500 Club Cab. I have had it for about a year and a half now and it's been great to me. I'm only selling it because I'm trying to get rid of some of the vehicles I don't drive much.
It runs and drives good. Has working heat and A/C. This truck has the 5.2L Magnum V8 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 2 wheel drive (Suregrip w/ 3.21 final drive ratio), 6 foot box. Manual transmission Dodge RAM's are becoming harder to find nowadays.
This RAM currently has around 195,300 miles on it. I have maybe put about 2,500 miles on this truck since I bought it.
There's no major issues with the truck but it does have an ECM out of 1998 RAM which works fine. The original one was not letting the engine idle (I still have it - I think it needs to be reprogrammed/flashed).
There's no body rot, only some surface rust, faded paint and the body has numerous scratches. There's a good sized dent on the driver's side from a deer kicking it (no joke). Other than that, the truck is still super solid.
Since I have owned the truck, I have replaced the:
- Throttle position sensor
- Idle air control valve
- Thermostat
The previous owner replaced the:
- Alternator
- Clutch
- Fuel pump
- Starter
- Battery
- Distributor
- Spark plugs & wires
- Headlights
There's some other miscellaneous parts that were replaced that I am forgetting.
It has aftermarket Mickey Thompson wheels which surprisingly ride really nice. I have a new spare tire for the truck as well. It just passed the safety inspection in November, so it's all good to go.
I'm asking $3,800 firm, nothing less. I'm not interested in any other offers. No trades - cash only.
The truck is located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Clean title in my name.
