[WANTED] 1st generation cummins 727 89-93

Are you looking for the 3spd 727(37RH) from 88-91.5 or the 727 based (46RH) overdrive unit used from 91.5 -93? For something like this I's peruse your local craigslist or consider dieseltruckresource.com or fortrucksonly.com. Here in Tucson cores needing a rebuild are selling for about $500 (3spd) and $800 (OD) before shipping.
 
I've thought about a 47rh for my 75 powerwagon 4bt. I'm new to this diesel crap. I'm leaning more towards the 4 spd auto. I'm trying to make everything easy since my steering colomn had the 3spd indicators.
 
The 4 speed auto has the same shifter detents as the 3 speed, the overdrive is electronically controlled.
