2 340 long blocks for sale Tampa area

I have decided to terminate my 340 Swinger project, so I will be selling all accumulated parts.

They need freshened up, this one is from my digger

1970 340 long block
.030 over trw forged 10.5
318 truck crank
2.02 J heads pocket ported
273 adjustable rockers
new oil pump
I think it needs cam bearings, and I would balance it as it never was

1972 340 long block
stock, these were 9-1 compression
J heads
nice shape, I would have put rings and bearings in it, a valve job and run it
$750

$1400 for the pair.

Also have a running 318 with 727 core. $200

I also have some intakes, iron and aluminum, carbs, distributors, oil pans and other odds and ends.

What are the numbers on 72 model year block?

In the pic with the casting date, there is a plug by the pan rail and a machined pad below it. What are the number in that pad?
