I have 2.94's in my Swinger. I'm currently running a Mopar purple shaft. .484/.484 [email protected] in a Magnum 360. My car came with three on the tree, and now it's floor shifted.
My car is pretty fast, but could be faster. I'm going with more gear when I put either a TKO 5 speed or a T-56 six speed. I want to see where the rpms are in overdrive to help me decide what gears to put in. Hope this helps.

moving on ain't easy if you drive a Ford :p
you will love them on the interstate and not bad around town, I run a 3000 stall in my 340 duster , with 3:55's gittin out on the highway emptied the fuel tank quickly

Can't comment on 2.94's as I don't have them but I thought I'd interject not to forget that tire height has a lot to do with the final drive ratio. If your running a 25" tall tire 2.94's won't seem that tall. If your running 28" tires they'll seem real tall.
