its a tuning tool and comparison tool, to compare motor to others run on the same dyno. to compare parts, different intake manifolds for example or ported verses unported heads. the numbers themselves mean nothing.

Yep all numbers mean something. If not, a ruler would be worthless. Nothing could be built or machined or made because everyone works off different numbers.
