Quick yet involved question. I want to replace my stock air cleaner housing with a standard edelbrock housing however I know that lines are running to my stock cleaner on my slant six, with the new housing its just a plain open circle with no availability for hose connections. Are these needed? Do I just plug the hoses once removed from the current filter? Thanks. Question two, I have trying to go to a double or quad carb setup on the slant six, I see manifolds with the availablility of dual or quad carb. I this as simple as changing out the stock manf, to a dual manf and maybe a new linkage cable or are there other aspects that I am just missing being a new guy in the Mopar club?

Thanks guys

not absolutely

Vacuum hoses can be plugged, pvc hose should not be.

Simple to swap out, but over carbing the stock slant would not be good.

Look here and on slantsix.org for upgrades that you can do...plenty of threads,
have fun

3404sprrd is right ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If you do the add on's remove the exhaust and go 2 1/4" from the exhaust manifolds to a stock 318 muffler then back to a 2'' off the muffler will go a long ways making it breath. Things I have learned here.
