Getting ready to paint my 73 duster I want to black out the hood tops of doors just can’t find a good picture of how it raps wrong the back side window seen them with V top so strip stops there but I don’t have a V top so need a picture for reference

IF you have access to motor trend.com, try to find the episode where Dulcich and Frieburger painted Dulcich's white Duster
Blacked out the hood, tops of fenders, and carried the Blackout across the top of the doors and around rear side windows.
It looked really good, imo.

I always liked the way the Duster on the cover of The Cars album Heartbeat City was painted, but the paint scheme 33IMP described above sounds like it could be pretty nice.

The tops of fenders, tops of doors, wraps around 1/4 windows, those were some pretty good hints he was after that factory black out paint scheme.
