Parting out a wrecked 2002 Durango. Bought it for a spare drivetrain for my Dakota but then a w150 and ramcharger popped up locally so im trying to shake the money tree and see what falls out. While the body is shot and i'm sure you could fine misc parts where your located, a good running 4.7 may not be so easy to locate. Other parts are available it needed, message me but for this post i'm selling a 4.7 (3 wire) its said to have 128k, trans p52119091ac 170k and 133d transfer case. Asking $1000. Motor started right up with no tics and drove around the back yard . Was a daily driver for the guy i bought it from. Drivetrain is currently on my trailer, tarped and strapped.

Just some info to help with the sale. That engine will have the 16 tooth tone ring in it, and like you said....will only work with a 3 plug ECM. Starting sometime in 2003, 4.7's switched to a 32 tooth tone ring that is only compatible with a 4 plug ECM. I've gotten to know more than I ever wanted to about 4.7's after I bought a dirt cheap, cherry 2004 quad cab Dakota with a bad engine! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the info! For those brave souls you could pull the crank, swap the tone ring for the 32 tooth...dont forget to change the ring on the cam too...
