Bought the wife a Grand Cherokee 2 days ago. She's been driving this Durango since the Ides of March 2002. She deserves a new ride.
2002 Durango 2 wheel drive - $2450
1 owner, 104k miles, 5.9 (360), SLT trim level, cloth interior, 3rd seat. If you enlarge the pic of the window sticker, you can see all of the options it came with.
I'll start with the bad: needs 2 tires now, and will need the other 2 soon. Needs a front end alignment because I never took it for one after I replaced the right uper control arm bushings. There is a slight crease low on the driver's door that I can't get to show up in a pic.
The mediocre: The clear coat is just starting to fail on the roof. Has a couple of typical door dings from 17 years of school/store parking lots. When I say a couple of door dings, I'm talking just 5 total.Typical haze to the headlights. Needs a rear window wiper blade.
The good: Everything works as designed. No rust - not even surface rust. Interior is nearly perfect. DI'd the upgraded intake plenum fix several years ago. Within the last 5 years - All 4 ball joints, right upper control arm bushings, front pads and rotors, radiator, waterpump, tune up, no cracks or chips in the windows. No leaks or drops from the underside.
I took the pic of the dash with it NOT running so you can see that all of the idiot lights work. You will see when you come to buy it, that they all go out with no issues like they should.
For what its worth, KBB private party value is as high as $3700. You will have to put $800 into it. I feel it is priced right for as clean as it is and mileage. That being said, I am asking $2400. Although cash is king, don't make a stupid low offer without seeing it in person.
